Maximum no of participants are 20. This what I have said and written.

6.10 Suddenly she came to meet me at the ferry terminal. I recognized her from a previous tour to Ukraine. But you were supposed to travel in April, I said . She had a different idea. Since 1975 I have arranged tours, but never this. OK, it was difficult to say no. Boel worked on her phone and managed to book a seat on two Polish trains. I called the tour guide Asya, who after 10 minutes triumphantly wrote that she had got seats on all three trains in Ukraine. Hotel rooms always work out.

Polferryes offered dinner (a benefit for groups) and the crossing to Gdansk was calm. The taxis were waiting at the quay and we got on the train to Warsaw with a good margin. There we are to meet another 10 participants, three Germans, two Britons, a Swede and four Americans.

7.10 Meeting point was the central hall and they were all there. So now we are 21. Next train took us to Lublin. Now it was dark. One Mr Igor waited for us here with three vans to take us through the border crossing at Rare Ruska to our hotel in L´viv. Did not like his driving. Way too fast on curvy roads through the forests.

After three hours in Poland we arrived to the border. Waiting, waiting. On the Ukrainian side Mr Tilman from Germany was asked to step aside, his luggage was taken away and Igor started driving.
